| Yeah it was pretty crazy. He somehow aimed perfectly to go through the tiny slots, pretty impressive. I put some netting on both sides of it to keep it blocked, and I'm ordering some frame and clear mesh for a diy top. | |

| I had a sand goby that disappeared and we found him 2 weeks later under the dresser! I suspect my cats had something to do with the distance after he jumped out. Glad you caught yours though! | |

| Tank break down.
I've had colonial hydroids in my tank for a while and the have spread all around and are beginning to sting the edges of coral. Though not immediately deadly to the tank, it causes an ongoing problem as they have to be constantly smothered off of the coral. So I am selling off the livestock, and will decide what to do from there. | |

| It happens, just goes to show the importance of thoroughly checking out frags when you buy them! | |

| Really too bad you're getting out of the reef scene. Lionfish, eels and groupers will be very cool though!! do you happen to have a pic of your hydroids? i was jut looking in my little 10 refugium and noticed what looked like a jellyfish a cm big. had anemone like tentacles though... and i def don't have a jellyfish in my tank.. the refugium isn't plumbed to anything thankfully | |

| That would be a cool setup Those are a different type of hydroid, the ones I have are colonial. It's literally strands that are less than a mm wide. | |

| Wishing you the best of luck with this Nicholas, I wish I could buy some of this to support you, but I'd have nowhere to put it. And no I'm not starting a saltwater tank just yet. I have a feeling it would kick my ass. I'm hoping you have lots of luck selling everything and I can't wait to see the next tank! | |

| Thanks Dan I'm sure you would do fine with a saltwater setup Tomorrow I have 3 people lined up to come over, possibly a fourth. I will also be heading over to check out a 90 gallon tank | |

| I'm now down to three corals, some cheap frogspawn (I just want it gone), and some duncans I spent pretty much the whole day with my friend and broke down, moved and am setting up my new tank. Time for a new showcase | |
