| I hope it's not the skimmer. I bought a used BH2000 and it's missing the cover that holds down the lid on top of the impeller so it's useless.... I thought a stronger skimmer might help pull crap out. I'm trying to work that out with the seller right now...
Thanks for the compliment on the pics! I love the wrasse.

| Also, are you still using the automatic feeder? It might be dumping too much food into the tank. Also what kind of food is it? Flake food can drive up the nitrates in your tank, and, in turn, ammonia.
Also, maybe it's just the bioload in the tank. I found this article that talks about how if you add too much fish/corals/etc. to your tank too quickly w/o the proper bacteria colonies getting established, the bacteria in your tank won't be able to handle the waste load, and ammonia will steadily build up over time...

| It could be the automatic feeder, I've lessened it to put out much less food. And yes I might be Eric | |

She ended up in a bucket and is currently residing at marine warehouse As for the male, he is okay but in critical condition lol I did get a sand sifter though with the credit! | At 3 in the morning Angel was fine and happy, at 11 in the morning angel had passed away... Just depressing. I'm thinking no more fish for a while and just stick with coral.

| Thanks, I love the Linkia and have always wanted one.
Parameters seemed in check but I did a small water change just in case. It ate last night and seemed super happy :/

| Well I have some birthday items coming in the mail. Soon the canister will be no more (so hopefully no po4 problems!) I have 2 reactors, 2 mj900s, some GAC, and GFO coming. To test the phosphates I bought a hanna checker. I'm also going to dose with part 1 and part 2 when I get the reactors running, as well as Elos amino acids. As well as red sea coral pro salt as opposed to the instant ocean. Hopefully these will make a difference. As it is I'm running a new skimmer (reef octopus BH2000) 24/7 compared to 7 hours a day has cleared the water a ton! I picked up some peppermint shrimp today from Corals and Fins to control my aiptasia, and some coral from Creative Aquariums today. Including orange and blue yumas and red planet acro | |
