Aquarist Club at USF - February Meeting

Our February Meeting will be on Tuesday, February 19th at 7pm in MSC 3704 (Tarpon Room). At our meeting we will be hosting Dr. Matthew Wittenrich as our guest speaker. Dr. Wittenrich is known for his success with breeding many different species of marine ornamental fish. Currently, Dr. Wittenrich is working at the Florida Aquaculture Lab as one of the main members of the Rising Tide initiative (a program focused on conservation through the aquaculture of marine ornamentals). Dr. Wittenrich is also a proponent of the Banggai Rescue Project (an effort to save the Banggai Cardinalfish which is close to extinction) and the author of The Complete Illustrated Breeder’s Guide to Marine Aquarium Fishes.

For those of you who missed the other thread, Dr. Wittenrich will be giving a tour of the aquaculture lab the Sunday following the meeting. So after hearing about Rising Tide on Tuesday at the meeting, you can actually go see it in person!!! Very Happy

That sucks, Drew. Can you at least make the tour on Sunday? You don't want to miss that, too!
