Aquarist Club at USF October Meeting!

Our October Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 18th from 5pm - 7pm in ADM 252 (enter through ADM 241).

At the meeting, we will be hosting Mr. Kenji Kawabata as our guest speaker. Mr. Kawabata is renowned for his amazing aquariums, both freshwater and saltwater. Mr. Kawabata is a graduate from USF, and was one of Dr. Motta's students as an undergrad. Today, Mr. Kawabata owns Aquarium Illusions, and him and his crew design, create, and maintain aquariums for their clients. Mr. Kawabata has won numerous awards for his aquariums, and was the winner of the Florida State Fair's Grand Champion Award (among others) for 12 consecutive years!



This should be an amazing meeting, and I hope that lots of you can attend! We will be upgrading to a larger room for this meeting. Instead of having our meeting in the Honors College Lounge, we will be meeting in one of the Honors College's Conference Rooms. We will also be inviting TBRC and TBAS members to join us, so this meeting should be quite a turn out! See you there!

He seems really nice. And, it's not a problem to come in late/leave early.

I'm glad we had a nice turnout. Thanks everyone who came! Next we have a social coming up in a couple of weeks and then our November Meeting featuring Dr. Baker.

^^^ this is exactly what I was thinking! I would have been thinking something else entirely.. LOL!

He gave me some ideas on planting my own aquarium, his were so nice!
