which grows fastest? looking for something to replace my cheato..

Chaeto is the fastest. The red grape was growing like a weed for me, but lately it's the red titan that has the best growth...

yeah cheato doesn't do much for me?

I found that calurpa does the best in my frag tank.. Nick suggested too low of nutrients for macro's to thrive in my refugium, do you think this is possible?

Yeah, it's possible. I only do water changes on my macro tank every 4-6 weeks, and that makes sure that there's plenty of gunk for the macros to "munch" on.
