10 Gallon Planted German Blue Ram Tank.

So, I recently got my 10 Gallon Dirted tank up and running about 2 weeks ago. And I must say its the most exciting thing I have had in a while. My German Blue Rams (Not the ones I was planning on getting, I am still going to get the Powder Blues) have already paired off and have already laid a batch of eggs. However like all Rams, the batch was not fertile and was eaten later that day. I expected this to happen, and I expect non wiggler batches for maybe the next two lay times (maybe 6 to 8 weeks total until real wigglers come ) The Tank Looks GREAT! I have some Bocopa Caroliniana around my heater(so I can try to hide the heater lol) I have an amazing Tiger Lotus on my "Plant Side" Java Moss on my two pieces of drift wood which maks this awesome little Tree Root looking shelter. Bronze wenti and green crypts, and dwarf sag in the front.

I love it! I'm tempted to try a planted freshwater aquarium after seeing yours...

Looks great! Good luck on the breeding rams! If you ever get the fry to hatch and grow a bit I might be interested in quite a few

Oh, trust me they will hatch, they are the only two in the tank. It should be about 6-8 weeks hopefully. I will have pictures up as soon as it happens though =D

Right now, I'm not going to start a new aquarium, but maybe in the future...

I decided to take a look at the pics I put on here back in august !!! So Here are some updated photos so you can see what it has grown to.

These are from before I replaced the filter and added a CO2 injector(AKA last week till yesterday)

Wow! Your tank really filled in!! Looks great! And, that's soooooo cool that your female ram lets you pets her (I'm kinda jealous...).

A "pet" fish, that's adorable. Otherwise the tank is looking really nice and full! The freshwater plants look nice and natural in there.

Its nice cause theres only 6 different plants in the tank (i took out the star grass for now, It will go in when I upgrade this to the 20L). I love it, in probably 3 months I will be over whelmed with plants from this tank.

The tank looks great! I love planted tanks they look far better than the plastic ones.

This is why I dont use plastic plants.....I hate plastic Plants...

I guess I should give you guys the update....this tank is no longer set up........I have moved all of this into a 20L, and i have completely re-did the 10. I will be putting a breeding trio(hopefully) of apistogramma agassizii (aka "Double Red") in. and there are currently 5 "Black" Rasboras. I will post up the process in the DYI...and I will label it "Freshwater Planted Dirt Tank DYI"

ALL CLEAR as promised
There are 5 "black" (the look blue) Rasboras, and there will soon be a breeding trio of Apistogramma Agassizii "double red" dwarf cichlids =D
