Weedon Island Preserve will be hosting on Thursday, March 1st, at 6:30pm (following refreshments), Dr. James Locascio of Mote Marine Lab, presenting "Underwater Soundscapes of Coastal Florida". His presentation will focus on the underwater world of Florida's coasts to investigate the wide array of fish sounds.

Registration is encouraged but not required at http://fishsounds.eventbrite.com/. Also on Thursday evening, they will unveil the interactive exhibit "Discovery Reef" from Mote Marine Laboratory that will be on display at Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center for the month of March.

Weedon Island Cultural and Natural History Center at 1800 Weedon Drive NE, St Petersburg, FL 33702
