| January PotM Entries!The PotM topic for the month of January is "Macro Shot". So...for this month, submit a photo that is a close-up (zoomed in) shot of anything in your aquarium!  As always, please read over the rules for PotM contests at PotM and PotY Rules and Topics before submitting a photo entry. To submit a photo to the January PotM Contest, simply post the photo that you would like to enter in this thread. You will have until midnight on Wednesday, January 23rd (12am on Thursday, January 24th) to submit a picture for the January PotM. All submissions after the deadline will not be valid in the contest. Voting will open on Thursday, January 24th. Good luck to everyone!  And, remember, you get 5 participation points just for entering a picture, so...ENTER!!! You might just win!  | |

| I AM intimidated! All those shots look amazing! How do you guys even get that close? There's no way my zoom would produce that kind of clarity. I got this from a phone pic though  | |

| It's a Kenya Tree Coral, a type of leather I believe. It's really sturdy, impossible to kill, you never HAVE to feed it, and if you have good conditiontions will grow really big and drop off branches like crazy. That's how I got him; my friend had one that kept dropping branches so I took one home. He used to be a lot bigger, but my sulfide incident and then the jerk damsel took a toll on him. He's looking up though!  | |

Whoops! Totally missed this, Eric!  Thank you! It's a rose-bubble only about the size of my palm, but now that it seems to have found it's happy spot, it's been getting a bit bigger. | |
