Creative Aquariums Empty
PostSubject: Creative Aquariums   Creative Aquariums EmptySat Jul 02, 2011 1:30 pm

I stopped by Creative Aquariums and was very impressed. It's a large store and it's packed with fish and corals! All of the tanks were very clean, and everything looked healthy and beautiful. The prices were reasonable as well. I came home with two stylophora frags. mr. green You can also get on their mailing list to find out about deals and what is in stock. Right now they are having a 4th of July sale which makes stopping by this weekend extra sweet! Cool

Forgot to mention in my last post...

I was looking for a yellow goby or neon gobies for me 47 gallon at Creative Aquariums when I was last there. I looked around, didn't see any, so I asked one of the employees if they had any in stock. He replied, "no" but informed me that they had just received their fish shipment for the week and that he would be willing to go through it all and look to see if they got any in. This employee went through about 8 cardboard boxes pulling out every bag to check to see if it was a goby for me. So sweet! That is customer service!!! thumbs up

Just stopped in there the other day and couldn't leave empty handed. The coral selection is the best around and affordable for anyone! I had always wanted a piece of red planet acro but could only find big frags for around 80+ dollars. They had small frags for 10!!! As well as blue and orange Yumas which I hadn't seen at any other LFS. Thanks for everything!!!

SO I was once again impressed with Creative. They always have what you want from softies to many types of SPS. Some of the cool things I picked up during their sale was a beautiful blue and orange acan with about 6 heads, a chalice that glows orange red, and another chalice... which branches like an Acro Shocked

Best place ever. Service was as good as ever Very Happy

Went to Creative Aquariums as well this weekend to check out their Memorial Day Weekend Sale! Awesome stuff and GREAT deals! Everything in the store is 20% off!! mr. green I came home with several frags and a huge chunk of turbinaria for a steal! They had some really unusual stuff, like Nicholas said in his post (e.g., branching chalice, rare montis, turbinaria, and hydnophora). Very Happy

As usual, Adam was very nice and helpful, and Tom even had a bit of a chance to talk with Nicholas and me in between helping customers. Also, I like that they added a $5 and $10 frag section (my kind of shopping lol). I'll be posting pics in my showcase thread soon! surfing

I thought they were magician's too, but Creative said they were Cinnamons. Perhaps one in the same? And, yes, they look great under actinics! Smile

Hmm that sounds pretty off. Although with zoas there are so many common names.. lol

only cinnamon palys i've seen (and owned) looked like this: http://lucidcorals.com/zen/images/Paly02-Sun.jpg

now maybe they call them cinnamon zoas?

Yeah, I've seen cinnamon palys like those. I don't know. Probably just another common name like you said. To prevent confusion, I'll call them Samantha's Sexy Starbursts Wink

Just want to give a quick shout out to Creative Aquariums. They saved my butt today... cheers

My Mag-Drive 18 for my new 100 gallon broke, and it was brand new -- broken right out of the box. Impeller messed up and pump well all scratched. Big Al's (who I bought it from) won't take responsibility, and Danner is sending me through hoops. But, Creative Aquariums had one in stock, set it aside for me, and I picked it up this evening. Everything is up and running now (and actually working!), and now hopefully I can start adding some critters in finally! mr. green

Thanks Tom and Creative Crew! thanks
