TBRC Interim Meeting

For those who you not keeping up with TBRC, I will do my best to summarize objectively the drama that has been going on...

Allegations were raised against current TBRC BOD members (including the President of TBRC). Accusations included the BOD using club member dues for personal gain. Said allegations have not been proven or shown to be legitimate to date; however, the TBRC President along with several BOD members resigned this past week. The VP of TBRC (who did not resign and was responsible in part for the allegations made) has taken over the BOD as President and appointed interim members to fill BOD positions until the new term starts. With TBRC changing BOD members, and in turn revamping the club, an Iterim Meeting has been called. The meeting will take place on Thursday, Sept. 20th at 7pm at 3602 w. Bay to Bay Blvd., Tampa, Fl 33629.

Nominations for BOD are currently taking place. Voting will tentatively be held at the October meeting. The purpose of the Interim Meeting is to discuss the direction of the club during the months before the newly elected BOD takes over in January, as well as the future of the club in general.

There is a huge mess over there.. its sad and looks like middleschool with middleaged people that own glass boxes. Its pathetic imo. After all this, how did anyone of these BOD get elected? with the exception of a few..

You're completely right, though. TBRC is going through some major drama right now. I'm trying to stay out of it. I won't be at the meeting on Thursday, but I'm going to try to make the election meeting (tentatively in October). I hope this all gets sorted out soon...
