I wonder if this stuff was lost due to flooding, or if someone purposely put sculptures down there.

It was purposely put down there. There's some in Cancun, others in the Bahamas, etc. It's pretty cool. I think some of them are really pretty and it would be cool to snorkel/scuba down there. But, there's some that are just plain creepy...

Those are honestly incredible! I can't believe the picture with the diver in the middle of what looks to be 100+ statues!
