Join Local Clubs

Hi everyone,

I know I already have a sticky about this in the "Introduce Yourself" section, but I feel the importance of reiterating after attending TBAS' July Meeting last night and having such a wonderful time...

One of my hopes for the Aquarist Club at USF is that it will funnel hobbyists into local clubs, like Tampa Bay Aquarium Society (TBAS) and Tampa Bay Reef Club (TBRC). We always invite TBAS and TBRC to our club meetings, and we post TBAS and TBRC meeting/event info on our calendar and forum to encourage our members to attend their events as well.

Please considering checking out the local clubs in our area, specifically TBAS and TBRC. You'll end up attending some really awesome events, and meeting some great people who care about stuff that you care about (fish!)!

TBAS was great last night, everyone was very nice and extremely welcoming to us as it was our first meeting there. By the end of the night it seemed as if you were talking among old friends. I honestly can not wait for the next meeting that they hold!
