| So after being in the saltwater hobby for about 3 months I decided to upgrade to my 27. I realized I still had about 400 invested in my 6 gallon and could not bring myself to selling it for 150 (the price of the marineland leds on it...). So what did I do... chose to put more money into it and do the lighting the right way!

| First day- drained the sand out, and removed the rock. Managed to only drop about 1 a gallon from my tank! Sand in the bucket! Tank clearing up! (the mountain dew was my treat for finishing it!) Totally cleared up, and stocked with corals I purchased from Eric on Firday! Most have moved into my 27 gallon now excluding the shrooms! | |

| So It might just stay a coral tank for now as I never got a bunch of mushrooms, or my leds soldered. Anyways here are the other corals from Creative aquarium today! THEY ARE MASSIVE! (first picture shows mushrooms from eric) Favia Ric (sorry that it's blurry) Acan Lakers echinata | |

| Hopefully it will. It, the other acan, and the favia all had issues. The favia was sliced with a bandsaw and the lakers wasn't doing good, the top part has died out. But thats why I got them at 10 a piece lol | |

| Nice corals for nice prices. I like the echinata. I can't believe how BIG it is!! (yeah, yeah, insert "that's what she said" ) Unfortunately, those lights just don't do the corals justice. I hope you figure out a solution. It needs a bluer spectrum. Your corals would "pop" under some nice actinic lighting. Btw, found this pic of a Lakers Echinata. Hopefully yours will look like this when it heals up. | |
