| I had been skeptical about getting a saltwater tank for years due to the extra work and time they take. SO I wanted to start small and luckily enough my sister found the perfect tank for me on Craigslist (which is a great place to get aquariums at a fraction of the cost!) I had recently seen this tank at a fish store and fell in love, but it was exclusively made for freshwater, but this one had been "converted" to run saltwater fish in! So we will start with the setup and work through the motions. This is the tank once it was moved into my house and refilled. Once again Toff was eager and ready to assist me on the setup. My tank as it cleared up, sadly my frogspawn and hammer were not open, but you can see the white frag plug from my house warming gift!! This is what the tank looks like setup! Instead of the stock halogen bulbs, two mr11 blue leds that are gz4 base compatible, and a coralife bulb strapped underneath the hood (as seen in picture two) This is the only fish in the tank, a green goby. Hes sweet like a teddy bear but he's named Grizzly because he's so fearless! Sadly the fun came to an end because the bulbs get way to hot. The led groupings in the MR11 bulbs were hanging by a wire because the glue had melted, and those in conjunction with the coralife had heated my 78 degree tank up to 91 degrees. So I unstrapped the coralife and today ran the bulb elevated above my tank ontop of legos! I had it focused on the left and middle where most of my light intensive corals are I spoke to a friend at Aquastar and he suggested a kit from rapidled with 12 leds to keep it cooler than the coralife, So look out for my led DIY thread within the next week or so! | |

| I LOVE the new aquarium! It's so tiny, cute, adorable, and totally has a modern cool-cat style to it! I think may favorite part, though, is that you named your little clown goby Grizzly! Looking forward to the led build! | |

| I think it would beat out all others at least for this month. He's so adorable! As you stated these were under my new lights. It didn't hit me at the time to take a picture of them, perhaps write a review on them too, and maybe mention the PAR level readings in my tank with them for all the other reefers! | |

| There is no POTM for this month. I'm not sure we're going to have one on the forum. Maybe in the Fall, when hopefully there will be more members. You should probably at least post a pic of the new lights in this thread | |

| What do you feed the fish and corals? Those goby's have tiny mouths. | |

| Unfortunately while I was away in St. Augustine my neon goby must have passed away because he is nowhere to be seen, but I feed them mysis and PhytoChrom (phytoplankton). The neon didn't even attempt the mysis and strickly ate the phyto. | |

| I had a yellow clown goby and tried feeding cyclop-eeze, which is very tiny, but I don't think he was healthy when I got him. | |

| Yeah my green goby will feed on Cyclopeeze, but prefers brine or mysis. | |
