Thanks, guys! Very Happy

Yeah, my clowns have been hosting that monti since I got them about 3 years ago. They've had options for frogspawn, hammer coral, an ACTUAL anemone, but they don't care. They're happy in their monti. don\'t know

And, thanks for the compliment about the photo of Harry, Dan. It's so hard to get a good pic of him because he's always darting around the tank. Smile

You really make me want to get one of these going I can't wait to see how it goes through the rest of the semester!

I've got to get more research done though Smile

How do you get the Zoas to propigate ?

Thanks, Drew! (Nice new avatar, btw) Smile

You SHOULD start a saltwater tank! Wink Zoas are pretty simple. They just reproduce asexually by budding off another polyp.

Well, I have a sad news update...

A few days back one of my clowns went missing. It's now been long enough that I'm pretty sure Sydney has passed. Pretty devastated about it. Sean & Sydney were a pair I've had for about 3 years, and now Sean seems awfully alone in his montipora... cry

No, so there is a chance I could pair the male with another female. You just don't really see naked clownfish at stores around here, which complicates things. Neutral

...I guess if anyone sees a naked clownfish or some leopard wrasses (bipartitus) at any of the LFS, let me know...

No, they can't mate. I've been looking for leopard wrasses, but now I'm also looking for a clown.
