DIY Auto Topoff Empty
PostSubject: DIY Auto Topoff   DIY Auto Topoff EmptyThu Jun 07, 2012 4:30 pm

So I FINALLY broke down and set up the ATO. Total cost to me right now is $22!

Materials:

Bought 3 float valves on ebay for $7 (only using two but one for a backup).

Used a lid from an old aquarium to attach the float valves to.

Found somebody throwing out a small kitchen trashcan (7 gallons). Cleaned with bleach. However, I'll probably buy one of the larger 13g ones later for $12

Got a Toms Aqualifter pump for $15

knife to cut the wiring

2 wire nuts (you could use electrical tape or any other wire connecting device though)

Electrical tape

Duct tape

Works good so far!!

Took about 20min to put together once I had the materials Smile
