Still haven't taken any pics of the two new neon gobies. They are doing really well, though. I was worried that they wouldn't eat, but they are PIGS!! All of the gobies are CRAZY eaters! I'll take some pics of the new gobies soon...

...But for now, here are some mandarin shots, that I never got around to posting...

Time for the pics of the new macros! bouncy These are from the last order from live-plants.com. I was a little disappointed with the order (the euchema arrived half dead, the gorgonian arrived not looking too hot but is coming back, and the mermaid wine glasses arrived bleach white), but they threw in free halymenia...give and take, I guess... don\'t know

Barbata (thought I'd give this stuff another try):

Coralline Cluster (pretty cool, IMO!):

Purple Ribbon Gorgonian:

Euchema (should be red grumble):

Mermaid's Wine Glasses:

I also found a cool discovery a month or so ago. One of my first macro orders ever contained halimeda, but it arrived nearly dead and died a week later. However, I found a little stalk of halimeda growing the other day! One leaf must have survived and taken root! Very Happy It's been growing well over the last few weeks, and looks really good! fingers-crossed

Nice find on the random halimeda! Smile

the euchema should color up with time and different lighting. I like the corraline cluster!

Thanks guys! Smile

Unfortunately, the euchema isn't coloring up. Rather, it's disintegrating. I've only got about a 1/4th of it left. Any suggestions??

And, yeah, it was really cool finding the halimeda! And, I can't believe how big it's getting so quickly! Really neat! Very Happy

Thanks everyone! The sea whip seems happy. I'm glad to see the polyps out already! Smile And, yes, it is HUGE, but you should have seen the rest of the ones at Westside! Those were MONSTERS! I bought the smallest one! Shocked

@Eric: The LEDs seem to be fine for it (this is my standard Ecoray fixture; the LEDs from you I was going to try on my 50 gallon, but they are too strong. I'll have to take them back to Nolan's, but thanks for letting us borrow them! Smile) As far as feeding it, I'm pretty sure it's photosynthetic. I don't feed my two other ones, and they do fine. fingers-crossed

Just went 3 months without doing a WC on this tank! AMAZING!! My other aquarium requires weekly WCs, but the macros are so efficient in this tank! It's so nice that this tank is so flexible...especially since my thesis has sucked up most of my time this semester! Smile

Time for an update! Very Happy

Everything is doing well. The ochtodes has really flourished. Lately I've been thinking of ditching the clam and anemone idea and making this a seahorse tank. Fell in love with some yellow seahorses at Creative Aquariums, and now I feel like I need them. mr. green Only time will tell, though...
