| Hey everyone,
Cant believe theres no review for FAOIS yet!
FAOIS = Fish and Other Ichthy Stuff
FYI Ichthyology = study of fish
Ive been going to this store for about 4-5 years now and i rarely buy from anyone else.
Fish health is always superb, they carry a policy of "Fish first, customers second".
If you go in there wanting to buy a fish too big for your tank, they will refuse the sale.
Very experienced staff, awesome selection of corals and fish, and their dry good prices are the same as online stores.

| I've been to the store several times, but never purchased anything due to the fact that I didn't have a Saltwater tank. It is a wonderful store with an amazing stock of fish and coral. I am excited to head back over that way and get something from them! | |

| +1 FAOIS is a great store! 3 of my 5 fish came from them!! As far as I've seen, their prices are fair. I've bought several corals from them as well. | |

| Yep, they are good. Too bad they are so far away and the store is a little too small --> meaning larger store = more room for awesome stuff | |

| Yeah, I wish they were closer. However, I just make it a "fish" day when I head out to Oldsmar. It makes the trip (and gas money) worth it when you can hit Marine Warehouse, Coral Corral, and FAOIS all in one trip. | |

| Saddly, I've only been to FAOIS twice. Seemed okay both times. Average price and stock. Not at all impressed with customer service though. VERY dissapointed. I know many people disagree on this but this was just my experience. | |

| John never seems too friendly, but in my experience, the staff overall has been nice. | |

| Yes, Samantha, that was my opinion too. The staff was fine. but John? eesh. Its his ethics on the forums that scare me! | |

| I try not to hold grudges. But I was offended one day when I walked into FAOIS, looked right at him and said "good morning", and didn't get a reply. Whatever, though. They have nice stuff for good prices. Their fish are some of the healthiest I've seen. My leopard wrasse and clowns came from there. | |

| I went by FAOIS the other weekend. Got myself a new tailspot blenny, and ran into Gimplar! I'll try to post some pics of Waldo III in my Showcase thread soon. He's adorable! | |

| I picked up my Hoevens wrasse from Faois and it was the best looking one I had found. They had three to choose from (all of which looked great), and it was by FAR the lowest price around. | |

| Stopped by FAOIS yesterday. I miss seeing Nelson there , but Chris is very helpful and nice. Their fish are always so healthy, which is nice to see. Nice selection of corals as well, but my wallet was too tight to buy any. I did end up buying some Coral RX, though. (I had promised Nelson I'd give the stuff a shot) Any of you all used Coral RX before? | |

| What are you using it for? I almost did for my bristleworm dilemma, but the guys at... Creative Aquariums (?) suggested it would kill ALL the bristleworms therefore leaving them dead in the live rock to later spike my water. I would definitely try it for any other problems though because the reviews looked good on it. | |

| Using it for a coral dip. John at FAOIS warned against using it on zoas. Said it was best for stony corals. | |

| Forgot to mention that FAOIS was selling t-shirts when I stopped in the other day. Pretty cool! They had some with some funny sayings. I was tempted to buy one... (of course our club shirts are better, though! ) | |
