Nicholas got my vote for having good focus with a solid depth-of-field. Bonus points for catching the warmth of the coral body vibrating against the cool teal-blue accents

Having said that, I agree that each photo is a delight! I really like that everyone has something unique, and the range of subject is more than I would have expected (especially the aquarium-related thingy Wink

). Can't wait for october!!

Ok, to spur interest, I will finally reveal what my picture is...

a super clean bubble plate with countersunk holes inside a SWC 120 cone skimmer. Image taken "top down", looking from the throat of the collection cup.

The flash really highlights all the little holes.

It's the head of a PTFE (teflon plastic) thumb screw that holds the plate onto the under section attached to the pump. The pump is actually inside the skimmer body, so it's great for small sumps.
